Samsung Apps in the USA

Unfortunately, because Samsung and its new OS come bundled with some uncertainty, carriers in the US haven't warmed up to Bada. This is not surprising, since the last of the big carriers (AT&T) have just barely dipped their feet in the waters of Android. That being said, I'm in the US, and since Samsung hasn't released any Bada handsets here, their app store is not 100% accessible. Sure I can fool Kies (iDevice is to iTunes what Bada Handset is to Kies) into thinking that I'm in Canada or in the UK but I'm limited to the free applications section since any credit card info I submit is automatically declined, I'm guessing it has something to do with location once again. Hopefully Samsung will throw me a couple of vouchers for Kies? In the mean time, I'm limited to the few free apps and games that appear here and there.

Welcome to Badapps!

Hello there and welcome to Badapps. The point of this site will be to review new and upcoming apps and games for the Bada operating system developed by Samsung. Currently there are not many applications for the platform (1,347) (500) when compared to the big mobile OS's (50-200,000), but the demand and steady sales of current Bada handsets are making things look bright for the future. As you can see, the Bada App Store has already reached a ways to go until it reaches Samsung's optimistic safe goal of 1,000 apps which they hope to reach by years end.
